Registered Nurse (RN)-Endoscopy/GI Lab-Part Time

Registered Nurse (RN) -Digestive Health(Endoscopy) Chicago, IL (Lakeview Neighborhood) Part time; 24 hours a week; 3-8 hour shifts per week (M,W,F); Call required 3-4 shifts a month as well as occasional Saturday Where You Will Work: More than 44,000 people a year come to Illinois Masonic for emergency care. AIMMC is a Level I Trauma Center which includes a trauma bay in addition to general emergency and behavioral health emergency designated beds. RNs are required to become verified as a Trauma Nurse by attending a Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC). AIMMC’s Emergency Department serves as the lead agency in pre hospital disaster preparedness for the City of Chicago. We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferably in critical care , telemetry GI experience a plus What You’ll Do: You will be responsible for providing nursing care to inpatient and outpatient population requiring GI procedures by preparing and assessing preoperatively through recovering postop in a team environment. Over 10,000 procedures annually with Five GI Procedure Rooms operational.
