Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Healthcare experience required. One year of experience for travel assignments is required. Telemetry experience is preferred. Description: The role involves providing care in a Med Surg Telemetry unit. This position includes caring for tele, surgical, and general medical patients. The patient population primarily includes geriatric and adult patients, with occasional pediatric cases that are not assigned to travelers. The unit typically has a patient ratio of 6:1. Common equipment utilized includes Alaris pumps, SCD machines, feeding tubes, and telemetry monitors. Nursing staff are expected to be flexible and willing to assist as needed. Clinical staff must wear scrubs and closed-toe shoes as part of the dress code.
