Job Description
We are seeking a Sales Associate Book Seller to join our team at our bookstore! We are a book company specializing in romance novels. The ideal candidate would be familiar with popular titles & authors in the romance book community. We are seeking candidates with weekend availability. This is a part-time position with hours ranging from 15 - 20 per week! MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY
Responsibilities:
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
- Using a POS system to complete customer transactions.
- Creating the customer experience. Assisting with book recommendations.
- Restocking Merchandise
- Shelving Books
- Assisting in-store book signings and small events.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for extroverted personalities who are comfortable approaching customers.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of niche book trends and products
- Familiarity with the Book World
