Job Summary And Responsibilities As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process. To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care. Performs CT exams Prepares equipment Equipment and room maintenance after each procedure Completes all quality checks and ensures that equipment logs are maintained Reviews the physician orders to verify the type of diagnostic test requested Inform patient of diagnostic procedure being performed Job Requirements Education: High School Diploma/GED required Experience: No prior experience required ARRT (R) upon hire or transfer ARRT (CT) within 9 months of hire or transfer Texas ‑ MRAD upon hire or transfer BLS-CPR, 14 day grace period Where You'll Work St. Joseph Health – Bryan/College Station, Navasota, Caldwell, Madisonville, TX.
