Description Inspects and performs all checkout and check‑in procedures, reporting equipment condition before and after usage. Department: Texas First Rentals (TFR) Employment Type: Full Time Location: TFR - FTW Supply Role Specific Job Summary For Supply Duties include handling new merchandise and supplies intended for sale, as well as equipment available for rent. The incumbent is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self‑development. Essential Functions Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of VBL tools and processes, aligning with the company’s Vision, Values, and Mission. Assists with routine inspections, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment. Assists with repairs, as needed. Assists with equipment demonstration, loading, and unloading. Maintains equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures. Responsible for general yard and shop cleanup, maintaining a safe and hazard‑free yard. Maintains company equipment – keeps in good, clean, and orderly condition. Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards. Requires regular and punctual employee attendance. Performs other duties as assigned. Role Specific Essential Functions For Supply Pulls will call and customer orders for delivery. Receives, handles, and stores existing and incoming inventory shipments. Assists in ensuring there is sufficient inventory to meet organization needs. Ensures inventory is stored correctly, safely, and that yard space is used effectively. Prioritizes and completes tasks to ensure team resources are used efficiently. Follows proper operating procedures and standards. Assists staff to ensure all yard activity is conducted safely and yard cleanliness meets standards. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Knowledge of construction and rental industry equipment. Knowledge of machines and tools, including designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Equipment selection skills – determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Uses logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments and various levels. First‑class organizational, multi‑tasking, and time‑management skills; deadline oriented. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment. Ability to make precisely coordinated movements of fingers to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects. Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately. Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Role Specific KSA's For Supply Knowledge of inventory principles and receiving functions. Ability to obtain Forklift Certification within a required time after hiring. Great attention to detail and prioritization skills. Ability to perform mathematical computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to identify problems and generate solutions. Record‑keeping and document control to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures. Requirements Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One to two years of work‑related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred. Role Specific Education And Experience For Supply High school/equivalent diploma or trade school diploma preferred. Two years of work‑related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities None Travel No travel is expected for this position. Valid driver’s license. Physical Requirements Must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities. Position involves extended periods in a stationary position; occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information. Uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Frequently lifts materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Constant movement and use of limbs; requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Ascends/descends with gradual or continuous progress using both hands and feet and climbs up and down ladders. Must be able to safely maneuver and work underneath equipment. Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work. Role Specific Physical Requirements For Supply Must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Position involves extended periods of standing, walking, and operating a forklift. Occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, filing cabinets, etc. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information. Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Occasionally requires lifting product up to 60 pounds. Must be able to safely maneuver throughout the yard. Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions; required to visually inspect work. Safety training required; PPE required outside of office/parking lot area. Work Environment Regularly works outdoors and may be exposed to weather extremes including inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times. Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, steam, high‑pressure water, and high‑speed rotating equipment. Significant time spent in confined spaces and high places.
