Industrial Maintenance Technician

Description Flexaust, Inc. is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Amesbury, MA facility. This position will work with the production and engineering teams to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install plastics processing equipment, such as plastics extruders, dryers, cutters and related support equipment and tooling. This is a hands‑on position that requires a wide range of skills and experience. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair production machinery, equipment and tooling Perform preventative maintenance on processing equipment Maintain extensive spare parts and consumables inventory Work with outside vendors and contractors Participate in R & D projects / new equipment installation and validations Fill out and submit required paperwork / maintain PM database in computer Qualifications Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems required - formal technical training preferred Machine shop, welding, fabrication and HVAC experience desired Must be self‑motivated and possess good communication skills and a positive attitude Good organizational, computer, and writing skills a must Experience with plastics extrusion or injection molding preferred Benefits Competitive Salary 401(k) With Company Match Medical And Dental Insurance Paid Time Off and Holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr Flexaust Inc.
