Position requires a high commitment to service excellence./ph3Duties Responsibilities/h3ulliPick up and return of patients as per schedule./liliStays in contact with the office to report any change in schedule including any patient cancellations./liliAssist patients to get in and out of the vehicle./liliAssist patients with wheelchair./liliEnsures the safety of all passengers./liliWorks flexible shifts as work dictates./liliDeliveries, Holter monitors, and miscellaneous pick-ups as needed./liliTransport patient to hospital or specialist office./liliChecks and maintains van daily and ensures that it is mechanically safe and clean./liliReport any incident or accidents to the supervisor and management immediately./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./liliRequired to wear company uniform./liliUtilize phone as routing system./liliAny other duties as assigned by manager/li/ulh3Supervisory Responsibilities/h3ulliNo supervisory responsibilities./li/ulh3Education Experience/h3ulliHigh School diploma or equivalent/liliUp to 1 year driving experience required; patient transportation preferred/liliBi-lingual English/Spanish Preferred/liliClean driving record/liliKnowledge of local streets and addresses/liliCustomer service skills/li/ulh3Knowledge, Skills Proficiencies/h3ulliValid Drivers license/liliExcellent customer service and communication skills./liliAbility to transport members in a safe, timely and efficient manner./liliAbility to work flexible schedule and location./liliMust be able to comply with company policies and procedures./liliMust be able to maintain patient confidentiality at all times./liliMust have basic mechanical skills i.e. ability to check and fully inspect their vehicles daily./li/ulh3Job Requirements/h3pPhysical Requirements/ppAbility to reach, lift, carry and move objects. Ability to walk, stand, bend, sit intermittently and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
