Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning and Generative AI solutions, leveraging a strong foundation in software engineering, backend engineering, and system design. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably beginning their career in software engineering before transitioning into machine learning, AI, or Generative AI engineering. This role requires expertise in Python and/or Java, along with proven experience designing and delivering Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and/or Agentic AI systems from architecture and design strategy through implementation and production. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning, artificial intelligence, and Generative AI solutions.
• Define end-to-end architecture and design strategies for RAG and/or Agentic AI systems.
• Lead the implementation and delivery of AI systems from initial architecture and design through production deployment.
• Apply strong software engineering principles using Python and/or Java to build reliable and scalable solutions.
• Design and develop backend systems while applying deep knowledge of system design and backend engineering principles.
• Provide technical leadership and thought leadership throughout the design and development of machine learning and Generative AI solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate system architecture and design strategies into production-ready implementations.

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally progressing from software engineering into machine learning, AI, or Generative AI engineering.
• Extensive expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence engineering.
• Strong software engineering foundation, specifically in Python and/or Java.
• Proven experience designing RAG and/or Agentic AI systems end-to-end.
• Deep understanding of backend engineering principles and system design.
