James Auto & Towing is seeking dependable, professional Tow Truck Drivers to join our growing team. We are looking for motivated individuals who can safely transport customer vehicles, provide excellent customer service, and represent our company professionally in the field.

Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to dispatch assignments.
• Safely load, transport, and unload customer vehicles.
• Operate tow trucks and recovery equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Update job statuses in dispatch software:
• Perform vehicle lockouts, jump starts, tire changes, and other roadside services as needed.
• Complete required paperwork and digital documentation accurately.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of company vehicles.
• Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background and motor vehicle record checks.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Previous towing, transportation, automotive, or roadside assistance experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating wheel-lift, flatbed, or self-loader tow trucks.
• Knowledge of vehicle recovery procedures.
• Commercial Driver License (CDL) is a plus.
