We wrapped up our first two years of the journey and are well into year three with more exciting things to come!\n\nOur Team\n\nThe Account Foundations team owns the authoritative accounts domain for Netflix Ads, building the single source of truth for who advertisers are, what they\u0027re eligible for, and how they transact. The team owns the core accounts platform (data model, APIs, hierarchy, lifecycle), the intelligence layer that enriches advertiser and agency data with first-party and third-party signals, and automated systems for eligibility verification and spend attribution on Netflix Ads Suite. Our work is foundational to every downstream product and sales workflow in Netflix Ads Suite.\n\nSkills \u0026 experience we\u2019re seeking:\n\n * Experience building and owning platform-layer APIs and services where other teams and external integrators build on top of your data models and contracts. \n\n * Deep understanding and experience of how to build extensible, high-scale systems.\n\n * Experience modeling complex entity/object hierarchies and account lifecycle systems, ideally including graph-based data modeling to represent multi-tier relationships and ownership structures.\n\n * Proficiency with building gRPC, REST, or GraphQL APIs with backward-compatible contracts, versioning strategies, and deprecation governance.\n\n * Experience building externalized APIs for third-party integrators as well as integrating with third-party data vendors across diverse delivery mechanisms.\n\n * Experience building data ingestion and processing pipelines that support multiple delivery mechanisms (batch files, data streams, API endpoints)\n\n * Strong backend engineering skills with Java, Spring Boot, and experience with distributed systems, microservices, NoSQL databases, Apache Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines on cloud/AWS.\n\n * Working familiarity with advertising demand-side systems: account registration, campaign management, account management and authorization.\n\n\n\n\nGenerally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $388,000.00 - $558,000.00.\n\nNetflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
