Salary: $250,000–$400,000

The firm is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to join its growing team, handling sophisticated Chapter 11 reorganizations and complex restructuring matters. Responsibilities

• Represent debtors, creditors' committees, secured and unsecured creditors, equity holders, asset purchasers and estate fiduciaries in Chapter 11 and other restructuring matters
• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs and other bankruptcy court filings with accuracy and efficiency
• Handle bankruptcy litigation, including contested matters, adversary proceedings and court hearings
• Work with senior attorneys and colleagues in litigation, real estate and corporate on complex workouts, asset sales and restructuring transactions

Qualifications

• JD with strong academic credentials and active New Jersey Bar admission in good standing
• 3+ years of bankruptcy and corporate restructuring experience, with litigation experience a plus
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to advise clients on complex restructuring issues
