Are you an experienced RN ready to take the next step in nursing leadership? We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Infection Preventionist to join our nursing leadership team.

This position works closely with the Director of Nursing to support day-to-day nursing operations, provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, and help ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

The role also serves as the facility's designated Infection Preventionist, overseeing infection surveillance, prevention practices, staff education, and infection control activities.

What you'll do:

• Support the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations and nursing oversight.

• Provide guidance, education, and support to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and nursing leadership.

• Assist with clinical audits, resident concerns, incident follow-up, documentation, and quality improvement.

• Monitor infection trends and oversee infection surveillance and reporting.

• Lead infection prevention education and monitor practices such as hand hygiene, PPE use, and transmission-based precautions.

• Coordinate response and follow-up for communicable illnesses and potential outbreaks.

• Participate in QAPI, survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and other nursing quality initiatives.

• Serve as a clinical resource and nursing leader throughout the facility.

What we're looking for:

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting preferred.

• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and leadership skills.

• Infection prevention experience is preferred
