Position: Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Part-Time (24 hours/week)
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) with expertise in cardiopulmonary disease management and secondary prevention to join our comprehensive healthcare team. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about promoting wellness and committed to serving as a positive role model for both patients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) with expertise in cardiopulmonary disease management and secondary prevention to join our comprehensive healthcare team. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about promoting wellness and committed to serving as a positive role model for both patients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical expertise in cardiopulmonary health and secondary prevention as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Assess patient risk factors and develop individualized care plans
- Support and guide patients in adopting therapeutic lifestyle changes to improve long-term health outcomes
- Promote rehabilitation, prevention, and overall cardiovascular wellness
- Collaborate effectively with the rehab team to ensure high-quality patient care and ongoing program improvement
- Identify psychosocial concerns and promptly communicate significant changes in patient status to the supervising physician
- Utilize evidence-based behavior change strategies to help patients set, monitor, and achieve health goals
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (BSN preferred) or Respiratory Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Acute Care (ACU), Intensive Care (ICU), Coronary Care (CCU), or prior cardiopulmonary rehabilitation experience
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
- Commitment to healthy living and preventive care practices
