About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Finance and Business Affairs to serve as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and provide senior financial leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of operational areas, including the business office, finance and accounting, operations, event services, information technology, and risk management. This role requires a strategic partner who can work collaboratively with the senior team to formulate and implement the university's financial policies and practices. The CFO will also be a key player in the university's strategic planning and will help ensure that all financial decisions align with the institution's mission and vision. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a degree in finance, accounting, or business administration, and at least 10 years of experience in finance and accounting leadership. The role demands a candidate with a strong background in financial management, including budget development, forecasting, and controls, as well as experience in managing institutional investments and risk. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, the ability to nurture a cohesive team, and a commitment to the values and mission of the institution. Experience in non-profit and higher education sectors is a plus, and the ability to articulate and support the company's evangelical Christian mission is essential.
