Rehab Director - PT

Serve as the primary Legacy representative at the facility Promote Legacy policies and clinical programs Create rapport and positive working relationships with facility personnel and Legacy employees Oversee internal marketing efforts and communicate Legacy programs and offerings Manage site productivity and make necessary changes to achieve budget Maintain a caseload supporting rehab department standards Assess patient needs and develop clinical programs appropriate for facility census Direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines Coordinate the rehab department daily with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming Participate in clinical outcomes reporting and share results with the customer Manage staff schedules to meet caseload requirements and use scheduling tools for patient schedules Manage CliniFax and physician signatures on therapy plans of care Maintain relationships and open communication among rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel Assist with staff orientation and training to meet company, state, and federal standards Requirements Clinical background as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Physical Therapist (PT) Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living Some prior supervisory experience preferred but not required Minimum of a degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience (i.e., degree in PTA, PT) Licensed and registered (PTA or PT) in state where assigned Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in clinical program development and patient assessment, with a strong focus on managing therapy programming and staff coordination in a long-term care environment. Proven ability to maintain effective communication and relationships among facility personnel and corporate staff while ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
