Salary Range $ 110-$120k Annually / DOEPosition Summary:Under the supervision of the Regional Operations Manager, this position is responsible for managing and overseeing the Air Vol Block Plant including the production, production scheduling, quality control, maintenance, inventory control, personnel management, production analysis, and plant safety for the efficient and safe production of quality products. This position is also responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Ensures the quality of products meets Company standards.Meets regularly with production supervisors and monitors production levels to ensure targets are being met.Supervises and trains plant and office personnel.Organizes production crews and ensures the timely and accurate recording of production paperwork.Ensures that all appropriate environmental regulations are being followed and all necessary reporting is completed.Maintains appropriate stock inventory levels of completed products and raw materials.Establishes yearly manufacturing budget.Establishes yearly product standards.Writes monthly report on production output and associated variances to standards.Identifies cost saving and quality enhancing processes, procedures, equipment and materials.Maintains plant and equipment according to Company specifications for cleanliness and safety.Works with Human Resources to recruit, interview, select, hire and employ using EC-Recruiting module.Responsible for training and/or cross training employees within the department.Responsible for encouraging and motivating employees.Responsible for disciplinary actions of employees as needed.Responsible for performance reviews annually on employees in direct reporting structure.Responsible for monitoring and approving employee actions in SuccessFactors (HRIS) in a timely manner.Review daily timekeeping records, absence requests and sign off on manager's payroll report every payroll Monday.Make critical hiring and firing decisions.Responsible for enforcing Company safety policies.Ensures employees and supervisors follow safe work practices.All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representatives.Attends safety meeting and abides by all safety rules set forth by Company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.Predictable and Regular attendance is required.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
