Role Description
This is a full-time position located in San Diego, CA, for a Family Law Attorney. In this role, you will handle various family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, and legal separation matters. Responsibilities include counseling clients, preparing and filing motions, conducting legal research, managing court appearances, and handling depositions. You will be expected to provide professional legal advice while advocating for and protecting clients’ legal rights.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Family Law and handling a variety of legal issues
- Experience with preparing motions and managing court filings
- Ability to conduct and manage depositions effectively
- Strong research and analytical skills relevant to law
- Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the California State Bar
- Excellent communication, client interaction, and negotiation skills
- Prior experience in family law is highly preferred
- Ability to work independently and thrive in an energetic, fast-paced legal environment
