We are seeking a compassionate, driven Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our clinical team.

In this role, you will deliver individual, couples, and optional group therapy services to first responders experiencing mental health challenges. You will conduct initial assessments, deliver trauma-informed interventions, lead annual department wellness visits, and provide individual debriefings following critical incidents. Your work will directly support emotional well-being, resiliency, and personal growth for individuals who put their lives on the line every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Therapy & Interventions: Provide individual, couples, and/or group counseling using evidence-based approaches (CBT, CPT, Exposure, DBT, EMDR).
• Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct clinical intakes and assessments to evaluate mental health needs and establish tailored treatment plans.
• Annual Wellness Visits: Perform annual proactive mental health wellness visits for local police and fire department members.
• Critical Incident Debriefings: Deliver immediate, confidential individual debriefings following critical incidents to mitigate trauma responses.
• Crisis Intervention: Deliver crisis management and stabilization services as needed.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare providers and departmental resources to deliver holistic care.
• Record Keeping: Maintain prompt, accurate, and confidential client records in compliance with legal, ethical, and HIPAA standards.
• Professional Development: Participate in weekly clinical consultation and stay current with research and best practices in trauma and behavioral health.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited university.
• Licensure: Current Illinois state licensure as an LCSW or LCPC (Required at hire).
• Clinical Experience: Demonstrated experience working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.
• Therapeutic Modalities: Knowledge and familiarity with evidence-based practices including CBT, CPT, Exposure Therapy, DBT, and EMDR.
• Cultural Competence: A strong understanding of behavioral health principles combined with cultural competency or personal appreciation for first responder and veteran populations.
• Skills: Proficient in clinical assessments, treatment planning, case management, and crisis intervention.
