Position SummaryThe Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) partners with Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors across all channels to offer discretionary portfolio management services to institutional and private clients (Endowments, Foundations, Corporate & Public Retirement Plans, Family Offices and Ultra-High Net-Worth) of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.The OCIO Business Development team is seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of high-impact proposals for OCIO mandates serving endowments and foundations. This role is central to winning institutional mandates and the ideal candidate has excellent writing skills, strong project management abilities, and knowledge of institutional investment management.Key Responsibilities:Analyze RFI/RFP documents to understand client requirements, evaluation criteria and submitting guidelinesLead and coordinate the proposal development process from kickoff to submissionWrite, edit and format high-quality proposal content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and complianceCraft compelling, tailored narratives that clearly communicate OCIO capabilities, including asset allocation, manager selection, portfolio construction, risk management and governance supportPartner closely with Financial Advisors, portfolio managers and product specialists to gather technical and business informationEnsure all proposals meet deadlines and adhere to brand, legal and regulatory standardsManage multiple proposals simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentSupport finalist presentations and pitch materialsOwn and continuously enhance the OCIO proposal content library including differentiation messaging, case studies and moreSupport all aspects of institutional sales for our OCIO Nonprofit businessQualifications:Ability to lead business development opportunities end-to-end and manage multiple senior stakeholdersStrong writing, editing and proofreading skillsExperience working with cross-functional teamsExperience in the RFP/RFI, grant writing, technical writing, or similar spaceMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Pro proficientProficiency in RFP response software (e.g. Loopio) is strongly preferredBachelor’s degree requiredWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.VP - Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 110,000 and 190,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
