The facility provides residential and community-based support for adults with behavioral health needs and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities. It operates as a community behavioral health and service setting rather than a hospital or large medical center. Clinical oversight is provided by an Executive Director and Psychiatrist within a structured, on-site environment.

Philadelphia spans over 142 square miles and holds 67 National Historic Landmarks, including Independence Hall and the National Constitution Center, situated within the 20-city-block Independence National Historical Park. The city offers a range of indoor and outdoor attractions, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Philadelphia Zoo, and the Delaware River Waterfront, alongside dining, live music venues, and family-oriented museums such as the Please Touch Museum. The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will provide individual, family, and group therapy to adults experiencing psychiatric symptoms on a full-time day shift schedule totaling 40 hours per week. The clinician will conduct intakes and assessments, including biopsychosocial and risk assessments, and will develop treatment and recovery plans in collaboration with clients while monitoring progress. Responsibilities also include crisis intervention and outreach, care coordination with psychiatrists, medical professionals, community resources, and family members, as well as documentation of progress notes, treatment-plan updates, collateral contacts, and discharge summaries. Evidence-based approaches are utilized, including Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Enhancement Therapy, and Illness Management and Recovery.
