Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education Teacher license (SC SPED LICENSE) required
• Strong background in adapting curriculum and instruction for students with unique needs
• Demonstrated experience working with one or more of the following: mild to severe exceptionalities, autism, preschoolers, or students with emotional disturbance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social success
• Must be able to work onsite exclusively throughout the duration of the contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction based on each student’s IEP
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress, communicating regularly with families and team members
• Collaborate with related service providers, support staff, and general education staff
• Contribute to IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and district requirements
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
• Engage with school teams to ensure student needs are effectively met
