ICU Registered Nurse - Trauma, Surgical, and Neurological ICU

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for trauma, surgical, and neurological patients. This is a vital role requiring a nurse with a strong background in trauma care, particularly at a Trauma Level One facility. The successful candidate will possess adept clinical skills and the ability to respond proactively to the needs of critical care patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critical patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including vital sign assessments and medication administration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective treatment plans.
• Perform necessary procedures, interventions, and assessments according to protocols.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and recovery processes.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have relevant Epic experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, specifically in trauma, surgical, and neurological settings.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.
• Navy blue scrubs will be required for the position.
