Fit Meals Prep is looking for a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher / Kitchen Utility team member to help keep our meal-prep kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently.

This is a fast-paced kitchen environment where reliability and attention to cleanliness are extremely important. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, stays productive without constant supervision, and understands that keeping the kitchen clean is a key part of keeping the entire team moving.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, kitchen tools, containers, and other equipment.
• Operate the three-compartment sink areas properly and safely.
• Keep the dish area clean, organized, and free of buildup throughout the shift.
• Return clean dishes, pans, and equipment to their proper locations promptly.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Break down boxes and dispose of waste properly.
• Sweep and mop kitchen and dish-area floors.
• Clean sinks, work surfaces, racks, carts, and other kitchen equipment.
• Help maintain overall cleanliness of the kitchen and production areas.
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and notify management when supplies are running low.
• Assist the kitchen team with basic cleaning, organization, and other tasks when the dish area is caught up.
• Complete assigned closing and cleaning duties before leaving.

• Comfortable working around heat, water, food, and cleaning chemicals.
• Able to stay organized and keep the dish area from falling behind during production.
• Willing to clean and help wherever needed.
• Able to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team.
• Previous restaurant, commercial kitchen, or dishwashing experience is helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements

This is an extremely active, physically demanding manual ware washing position. Applicants must be able to:

• Stand and move for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry.
• Safely lift approximately 40–50 lbs.
• Work in a commercial kitchen environment that may be hot, wet, and fast-paced.
