Job Summary
This position serves as a Registered Nurse III with the KENT County Community Mobile Health Unit. The primary function of this role is to provide health screenings and testing for cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension, blood lead, and HIV, as well as vaccinations for Covid-19 and seasonal flu. The services are provided on board the community mobile unit out within the underserved. The incumbent will also support the public health clinic in child health, immunization, family planning, and sexual and reproductive health. They will provide professional nursing care services to clients, prepare reports and statistics, and assist in providing community health education. Manage and maintain vaccine inventory and corresponding supplies. This position will participate in disaster exercises and shelters when needed and in public health initiatives, such as flu vaccinations, COVID-19 testing and vaccinations, and other community health projects. This position will require occasional one evening per week and occasional Saturday with advanced notice.
