Production Planner

Production Planner Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Production Planner to join their team. As a Production Planner, you will be an integral part of the Operations Department supporting production scheduling and planning activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Production Planner Location: Lockport, NY Pay Range: $32- $43hr depending on experience Shift: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm with some overtime What's the Job? Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the final approval process for products throughout the production cycle. Coordinate production plans according to established schedules to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate and implement engineering change orders within production processes. Work collaboratively with process engineers and test engineering teams to optimize manufacturing workflows. Analyze long lead-time parts and collaborate with purchasing to develop customized supply solutions. What's Needed? Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively, both orally and in writing. MUST have SAP experience for consideration Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively, and professionally to changing demands and requirements. Excellent judgment and initiative, with the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively. Thorough understanding of SAP or Material Requirements Planning (MRP), planning functions, and shop floor processes. Minimum of three to five years of production planning or material management experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, ideally with PCBA/SMT experience. What's in it for me?
