Transportation Driver
Reports To: Transportation Supervisor
General Responsibility: To assure safe and orderly transportation of district students and staff.
Status: 9-month position; work days and hours will be determined by the Transportation Director and Superintendent.
Payment Rate: Classified Hourly Rate
Schedule Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in matters of student and staff personnel information, and in the general business of the office operations.
- Must have current Wyoming Commercial driver license with an endorsement for Passenger and Air Brakes.
- Must be able to pass an annual DOT examination.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to perform all duties as listed below.
- Complete Criminal Justice Fingerprinting and Background Clearance
Duties Shall Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Safely drive assigned routes, trips, etc.
- Maintain discipline in the buses in accordance with accepted district standards.
- Maintain bus cleanliness at all times.
- Subject to all other rules and regulations as specified by the Wyoming Pupil Transportation Manual.
- Perform such duties as the supervisor may request to ensure efficient operation of school programs to students and staff members of FCSD #6.
- Must be familiar with routes and locations for traveling to and from sporting events or any other special events.
- Cooperates with staff, parents, and other district patron inquires with a positive and flexible attitude.

Physical Requirements: Occasionally requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull or push heavy objects or materials, stooping, bending and reaching, climbing stairs and use a small step ladder.
