Requirements


Essential Responsibilities

• Plan and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions that improve participation and functional independence across home, school, clinic, and community environments.
• Utilize creative, engaging, and strengths-based therapy approaches to support children with diverse developmental needs, including autistic and neurodiverse learners.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to develop individualized home programs that promote carryover and meaningful outcomes.
• Partner with multidisciplinary team members to provide coordinated, family-centered care.
• Complete timely daily documentation, progress reports, and annual plans of care using our web-based documentation system.
• Establish positive, collaborative relationships with clients, families, caregivers, educators, and team members.
• Comply with all clinic, home, and school policies as well as applicable state and federal regulations governing therapy services.
• Licensed therapists complete evaluations based on educational relevance or medical necessity, as appropriate to the service setting.
• Assistants practice under appropriate supervision in accordance with Arizona licensure requirements, Arizona Department of Health Services regulations, and professional board standards.
• Opportunities are available for student mentorship and clinical education, as appropriate to discipline, licensure, and experience.

Requirements (by start date)

• Arizona Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Licensed to practice therapy in your discipline in the state of Arizona
• CPR/First Aid & Article 9 training
• AHCCCS and NPI number
