Adjunct - Clinical Nursing Instructor

This is an ongoing job posting for clinical instructor positions available across various cities/states/clinical sites . Opportunities are open for current and future semesters, with applications accepted on a rolling basis.

Educational/Experience Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
• Active and unencumbered registered nursing license
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital or clinical setting

Hours

• Hours will vary based on clinical facilities with the potential for 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts, and the possible availability for 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift, weekdays/weekends available

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Ability to move about readily and rapidly, if necessary, around campus, classrooms, clinical settings, etc., to access classrooms, desks, students, office machinery, clinics, patients, etc.
• Constantly communicates using the spoken word with students, staff and colleagues.
• Visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess.
• Operate equipment specific to programmatic track, personal computer, audio-visual equipment, clinical equipment, etc.
• Travel to off-site meetings or conferences or to observe students during clinical education at off-site clinical settings.
• In addition to the above requirements, for programs that include a clinical component, all faculty must be able to:
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
• Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects.
• Ability to see and hear within normal parameters.
• Lift up to 25 pounds.
