Apex Systems, America’s second largest technical staffing firm, has one 6 month contract-to-hire opening for Data Center Architect with a large Telecom Client client in Charlotte. This is a fast-paced, cutting edge environment offering room for advancement, professional and technical growth and long term stability. We are looking to hire fast and expect these resources to start by late March.

Looking to redesign DataCenters overall. This person will help with the roadmap for the next 5 years. Designing the network, hypervisor, server types. Will be working with other engineers to plan, put to paper, and then execute. Looking to offer more services to internal customers and services to edge of network for external customers. Trying to make sure they are doing everything right with best industry practices. This person is assessing requirements of border partners and other groups, talking with project teams to figure what they need to do to be ready for the 5 year plan, including deploying the new environment. Needs to be able to work with project team, to give feedback on what they’ve done in the past and have that experience to draw from.
