Registered Nurse PACU

Registered Nurse PACU/Preop

Our client, a leading health system in Dodge City, KS, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU/Preop department. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
• Promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through the use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Requirements

• Education: Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: One year RN experience; nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.
• Licenses/Certification: RN License required; current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
• Physical Requirements: Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly).

Schedule

• The position involves 8-hour shifts with variable hours. Some days may start at 5:30 AM, while others may start at 8 AM or later. Call is mandatory.

Compensation

• $30.58 - $42.99/hour
