Orthopedics - Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant (Johnson City, NY)

Guthrie Lourdes is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Guthrie Johnson City Pavilion Orthopedics' team. A full time fast-paced position that includes clinical outpatient assessments, initial and follow-ups, inpatient rounding and surgical assists in the OR. Implementing treatment plans at the direction of orthopedic surgeon. Prescribing medications and treatments. Providing patient education and counseling. First call shared equally among all APPs in the practice. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Candidate Requirements Current license in New York State. Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program. RNFA required for nurse practitioners. Experience working in a surgical practice or hospital setting is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits Competitive Salary range of $125,000-$135,000 depending on experience. Paid Call coverage shared equally with other APPs in the Practice.
