Registered Nurse - Cardiac and Stepdown

Location: Marquette, Michigan

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Cardiac IMC team. The position involves caring for cardiac patients in a telemetry monitored environment. The nurse will support patients recovering from cardiac procedures and manage stepdown populations with various cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac patients.
• Monitor telemetry for patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and manage cardiac drips.
• Assist with procedures including chest tubes and pacemaker management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• 1 year of experience working in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or stepdown environment.
