Daily Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all day-to-day on-site activities for commercial construction projects
• Manage projects in the field from mobilization through punch list and closeout
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, material deliveries, inspections, and other field activities
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and approved submittals
• Coordinate daily with Project Managers and communicate field progress, issues, and upcoming needs
• Maintain and update short-term/look-ahead schedules to keep subcontractors and project activities on track
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, quality standards, and project schedule
• Identify conflicts, discrepancies, and constructability issues and communicate them promptly to the Project Manager
• Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, photos, safety documentation, and other required project records
• Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements
• Coordinate required inspections and ensure deficiencies are corrected promptly
• Monitor subcontractor performance and hold trades accountable for schedule, quality, safety, and cleanliness
• Manage punch-list activities and assist with project closeout
• Maintain clean, organized, professional, and safe job sites
• Monitor and report project progress to leadership
• Occasionally lift and carry materials and tools over 25 lbs.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent managing commercial construction projects
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple subcontractor trades and commercial projects from start through closeout
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, building codes, inspections, and safety requirements
• Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and submittals
• Strong scheduling and subcontractor coordination skills
• Ability to identify field conflicts and proactively resolve issues before they impact schedule or quality
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and jobsite safety practices
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice to Have Skills:

• Estimating experience
• Background in procurement
• OSHA certification
