CDL Dump Truck Driver
Elkhorn Lawn Care · Gretna, NE · Part-time (path to full-time) · Year-round · $26–$30/hr · Hiring 1 driver

This isn't a seasonal job.
We just added a second dump truck to our fleet, and it's staying busy year-round —landscape and material hauling in the growing season, equipment moves between job sites, pool excavation digs through the winter, and snow operations when the weather hits. Part-time to start, 3–4 days a week, with a clear path to full-time as we add hauling partners. If you're tired of driving jobs that dry up when the ground freezes, this is the one that doesn't.

Your rate reflects your experience.
We pay $26–$30/hr based on what you bring. Safe, reliable, productive drivers earn their way up — and into full-time hours first.

Our drivers and crews use GPS-tracked trucks, digital job scheduling, and field reporting tools. You'll always know where you're hauling, what you're hauling, and when you're expected — because our systems tell you before anyone has to call you. What you'll do

· Operate a Class B dump truck on local routes hauling soil, rock, mulch, and excavation material

· Haul and deliver equipment between the shop and job sites — loading, securing, and unloading safely

· Haul for ELC landscape crews and partner excavation projects, including winter pool digs

· Support our snow operations team during winter events — hauling, plowing, or snow removal as needed

· Run with our lead driver and coordinate daily with crew foremen and job sites

· Use your iPad to clock in/out of every job, log loads, and document work

· Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and flag maintenance needs before they become downtime

· Flag property issues you see on job sites — your eyes in the field generate revenue for the whole company

· Represent ELC professionally at every job site, supplier yard, and partner project

Requirements

· Valid Class B CDL (or higher) with air brake endorsement — Class A a plus

· Current DOT medical card

· Clean driving record — MVR review required

· Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and Clearinghouse query

· 1+ years of dump truck or construction hauling experience preferred

· Trailer and equipment-securement experience preferred
