Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated individual who can effectively use a shovel to move materials that have not passed inspection. The role involves working outdoors in hot conditions, manually moving materials for refurbishing, and preparing them for shipment. This position is ideal for those with a background in construction labor or outdoor work, as it includes heavy lifting of items like ladder clips that did not meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a shovel to move materials that did not pass inspection.
• Work outdoors in hot conditions.
• Manually move materials for refurbishing.
• Prepare materials for shipment.
• Perform heavy lifting of items such as ladder clips.

Essential Skills

• Experience in tool maintenance.
• Proficiency in using a lathe, mill, and manual surface grinding.
• General production skills.
• Previous shop work experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in grinding.
• Strong mechanical skills, including the use of hand and power tools.
• experience in construction or carpentry.

Work Environment

This position operates in a shop environment with a first shift schedule from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77065.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
