Litigation Attorney (Auto Warranty)

A leading international law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join its product liability and warranty litigation practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high‑stakes matters involving automotive, aviation, and other regulated industries. The ideal candidate is a motivated litigator with strong writing skills, solid experience navigating the litigation process, and the ability to manage responsibilities independently. This position is well‑suited for someone who enjoys hands‑on litigation and is interested in developing trial experience. This practice represents a diverse client base, including manufacturers, transportation providers, public entities, government contractors, retailers, and insurers across a range of sectors such as automotive, aviation, consumer products, and industrial manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and attend hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation‑related documents Conduct in‑depth legal research and prepare analytical memoranda Prepare client updates, status reports, and strategic recommendations Manage document review and analysis in preparation for litigation Handle all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings through trial support Qualifications Active membership in the California State Bar 2-5 years of litigation experience Experience with discovery, law and motion practice, and court procedures Familiarity with product liability, automotive warranty, or aviation‑related matters is preferred Experience with California Lemon Law, including the Song‑Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Magnuson‑Moss Warranty Act, is a plus Exposure to both state and federal court litigation Skills and Attributes Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize competing demands High level of organization and attention to detail Sound judgment and problem‑solving skills Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism Strong work ethic and proactive approach to case management All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
