Host Job Opportunity

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and excellent customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of guests into the dining area. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the host area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Manage reservations and create seating arrangements to ensure an efficient flow of guests.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
• Assist in coordinating with the waitstaff team to ensure timely service.
• Answer phone calls and provide information to guests regarding restaurant hours, specials, and promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the host area, including keeping the reception area clean and tidy.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate wait times and communicate any special requests or considerations.
• Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain knowledge of the restaurant's offerings, including menu items and daily specials.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.

Pay: $15 to $17 an hour
