Pre-Settlement Funding Specialist

Liberty Legal Funding is a growing pre-settlement funding company that helps injured plaintiffs access funds while awaiting the resolution of their personal injury claims. We work directly with established plaintiff law firms and are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support all aspects of the funding process.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping people, can manage multiple priorities at once, and remains calm and professional under pressure. Experience in personal injury law, case management, legal operations, litigation support, settlement coordination, or legal funding is helpful, but we are equally interested in strong communicators who are quick learners and comfortable managing a high volume of moving pieces.

Responsibilities

• Review and process pre-settlement funding requests
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, case managers, and law firms
• Gather and review case information, medical treatment updates, and supporting documentation
• Assist with underwriting and funding decisions
• Prepare and manage funding agreements and client records
• Coordinate funding disbursements and payment processing
• Track active accounts and maintain accurate case files
• Process payoff requests and assist with settlement-related account resolution
• Support monthly reporting and administrative workflows
• Maintain accurate records across internal systems and databases

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in personal injury law, legal funding, litigation support, customer service, claims, case management, legal operations, or a related field
• Fluent Spanish speaking ability strongly preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable speaking with clients, attorneys, case managers, medical providers, and other stakeholders throughout the day
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented during difficult conversations
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple files, deadlines, and competing priorities simultaneously
• Comfortable learning and working across multiple software platforms and systems
• Strong attention to detail and sense of ownership
• Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
• Experience with personal injury claims, settlements, medical records, liens, or legal funding is preferred but not required
