Job Title: Intensive Care Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse, Client Duration: 13 weeks Shift: NOC Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 5 years acute critical care experience License: Current RN license Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience - Level II trauma critical care experience - Previous traveler experience Description: This is a Level II trauma critical care unit with a 12-bed, 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. The unit specializes in neuro/trauma patients. Candidates must be able to care for patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains. There will be a requirement to float to other units as needed, including Cardiovascular, Telemetry Care, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg units. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years acute critical care experience. EPIC charting experience is a requirement. Experience in a Level II trauma critical care setting is essential. Current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Previous traveler experience is preferred. Holiday coverage will be required.
