Exciting Opportunity: Full Time Staff RN - PACU - Days Job Description: - Shift: 8:30 AM - 6 PM, 4 x 9's - Weekend Call: One day per Saturday or Sunday every 6 weeks - Night Call: 4-5 times per 6-week schedule Key Responsibilities: - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care using the nursing process. - Direct and delegate tasks to co-workers in a collaborative care environment. - Provide education and support for patients and their families from admission through discharge. - Maintain thorough, accurate, and concise documentation throughout the patient care process. - Communicate pertinent observations and changes in patient status to the physician. - Administer medications and perform treatments accurately and safely. - Ensure medical equipment and supplies are available for patient care and report any malfunctions promptly. Qualifications: - Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN). - Licensure/Certification: Valid RN license in Ohio; CPR certification is required. - Experience: Minimum of 2 years of previous RN experience preferred. - Skills: - Strong interpersonal and communication abilities - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and make independent decisions Organizational Values: - Empathy: Understand and care for patients and their families. - Integrity: Uphold ethical and honest practices in all situations. - Stewardship: Utilize resources wisely and give back to the community. - Agility: Embrace change and seek innovative solutions. - Teamwork: Collaborate effectively and respect diverse perspectives.
