Quick Facts Location: Tacoma, WA Start Date: 05/16/2026 Duration: Ongoing assignment Shift: Varies, typically 8-hour shifts Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Contract/Locum License/Certifications: Active medical license, board certification in Anesthesiology, fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology Experience: Minimum of 2 years in pediatric anesthesia Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (rate as provided) Benefits: Competitive pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (when applicable) What You’ll Do Provide pediatric anesthesia care in a hospital setting, supporting routine and complex cases Collaborate closely with surgical and cardiology teams, including Cath/EP lab and cardiac imaging Manage anesthesia for approximately one surgical patient per day Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout perioperative periods Assist with preoperative assessments and post-anesthesia care as needed Support the new hospital facility transitioning in May What You Need Required: Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology Valid medical license in Washington State Minimum 2 years of pediatric anesthesia experience Preferred: Experience in cardiac anesthesia or support for cath/EP procedures Strong teamwork and communication skills About the Assignment This opportunity is based at a leading hospital in Tacoma, Washington.
