What You'll Do: Performing preventative maintenance on all equipment and trucks Checking fuel, fluids, and systems Adding, maintaining, and replacing filters daily Tracking and recording service, status of equipment, trucks, and operating hours What You'll Need Capable of climbing, bending, kneeling, and working in various positions around equipment Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.) Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Tools required for the job: 3/8" to 1" and 1/2" sockets and wrenches Ability to perform greasing operations Minimum of (3) years practical experience with commercial trucks and heavy equipment Valid Class "B" Commercial Driver's License and clean driving record Valid DOT Medical Card Endorsements for Hazardous Materials and Tanker (CDL with Hazmat endorsement) Submit to pre-employment drug and background screenings Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision Excellent communication skills Compensation & Benefits: Competitive Salary Vacation Pay and OSL Medical/Dental/Vision and Life Insurance FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts) 401(k) (company match up to 4%) Equal Opportunity Statement: As an equal opportunity employer Kerr Contractors will hire without consideration to race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, or disability.
