Vitality Bowls Team Member
We are a health-minded, nutritionally conscious, energetic company, focused on the customer experience. Be a part of a fun, dynamic, growing team committed to bringing healthy food to the community! Originating in San Ramon, Vitality Bowls specializes in Aai bowls, fresh juice, smoothies, panini, and salads.
- Memorize training material to learn the health benefits of our menu to customers in an upbeat, informative manner.
- Display a thorough knowledge of our food and recipes. Must be able to follow recipes and to make all food in a timely and sanitary manner.
- Communicate effectively with other staff to ensure that all orders are made correctly and in a timely way be a team player.
- Be reliable, show up to scheduled shifts on-time and communicate scheduling conflicts in a timely manner, including requests for time-off.
- Have excellent customer service; be positive and polite.
- Assist customers by processing their orders at the point-of-sale, taking phone orders, and inputting third-party delivery orders.
- Prepare ingredients for all menu items according to proper procedures.
- Continuously uphold cleaning protocols throughout the caf and lobby.
- Assist with putting away deliveries and sustain cafe organization.
- Complete all opening, closing duties.
- Follow all county health and safety guidelines
- Follow all Vitality Bowls policies and standard operating procedures.
- Perform additional tasks and handle special circumstances requested by your manager.
- Become food certified.
- Work with a basic computer, POS system; handling cash and credit cards.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly, and have a sense of urgency.
- Maintain a clean and work appropriate personal appearance.
- Come to work with a positive attitude and are willing to work well with others.
- Must be able to work a combination of Evenings and morning shifts 4 - 5 days a week (9am -3:30pm and or 3:30pm - 9:30pm Mon - Sat, Saturdays are a must)
