Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical position requiring prior travel experience and a willingness to float between units.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Required to float between Medical Surgical units
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and Nursys
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted for consideration or prior to accepting an offer
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with any positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
