Job ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibilities of the group include Refuel Floor coordination during outages, field technical direction, preparation, performance and revision of maintenance and operating procedures, system troubleshooting and coordination of contractors, as appropriate. Assists in the preparation of annual costs estimates, budget and forecasts of personnel and equipment to maintain adequate support of assigned outage work scope. Maintains an effective safety program. Directs and supervises supplemental personnel, including managing employee relations and performance management.Job Specific QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 5 years of experience in the Nuclear Power IndustryKnowledge of a commercial nuclear power plant (Boiler Water Reactor (BWR) or Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR))Previous refuel outage or dry cask storage experienceDemonstrated communication skills (Written & Verbal)Demonstrated project management skillsMust meet and maintain requirements for unescorted Nuclear plant accessA valid Real ID or an approved form of alternate documentation ( is required for this jobCompliance with the Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810 is requiredDESIREDBachelor’s DegreePrevious Licensed Operator in a Nuclear Power PlantPrevious supervisory experience.Understanding of the Collective Bargaining contracts and Union issuesAbility to navigate SAP and ESOM’sSome positions at PSEG require access to information covered by the Department of Energy’s regulation 10 CFR 810 (Part 810).
