Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Operator to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience operating machinery, using hand tools, and handling heavy materials. This role involves working with crates, requiring a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and experience in construction or similar environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain sewing machines to fabricate products according to exact specifications.
• Handle and assemble wooden or custom crates using hand tools and other mechanical equipment.
• Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure all products meet established standards before packaging and shipment.
• Follow lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance production efficiency.
• Package finished goods, ensuring proper labeling and secure preparation for shipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance or coordinate repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to support overall team productivity.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role involving machinery operation and manual labor.
• Proven experience with sewing machines and fabrication tools is highly desirable.
• Comfortable using hand tools for construction or assembly tasks.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience is preferred; certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in crate handling, construction, or heavy equipment environments is a strong advantage.
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality and safety.
