Job Description
The Maintenance Service Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of industrial machinery. Working as part of a small team, the technician conducts repairs, preventive maintenance, and thorough inspections to maintain heavy equipment and machinery. This role demands mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with equipment such as forklifts, loaders, bobcats, and telehandlers to sustain operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform equipment repairs and replace worn or damaged parts
- Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid equipment failures
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues on industrial machinery
- Inspect heavy machinery for safety and performance criteria
- Grease equipment and top off fluids regularly
- Operate forklifts, loaders, bobcats, and telehandlers safely
- Replace large tires on trucks and heavy equipment
- Manage tools and maintain accurate maintenance reports
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in maintenance service roles
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Strong mechanical repair skills and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and customer service skills
