Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active, unrestricted RN License or valid, participating compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Level I trauma experience required - Experience in general, orthopedic, spine, trauma, and neuro cases Description: Position available for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. This role involves working a night shift schedule. The ratio for patients is 1:1. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. There is no on-call requirement. Weekend work is needed as scheduled, typically every third weekend. Candidates must have experience in high-volume orthopedic, trauma, and spine cases. Minimal pediatric experience is required. The facility requires nurses to adhere to quality and patient safety standards. Previous charge experience is preferred, though not mandatory. Candidates must have strong operating room skills and the ability to perform in multiple specialties. Familiarity with electronic charting systems is necessary. Candidates will not be required to float to other areas of the facility. Reference checks are needed prior to the start date. Candidates must comply with all testing requirements. Candidates are expected to work scheduled holidays as part of the rotation. Professional references will be required for verification. This role may involve interactions with various patient age groups, including infants and geriatrics. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to infection control and safety procedures.
