Job Summary:
Polysomnographer Detroit. This position involves overseeing and performing complex sleep studies, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations, to ensure high-quality sleep recordings. The role requires maintaining compliance with established standards and generating detailed reports for physician review. The position offers an opportunity to work at multiple sleep lab locations, with on-the-job training provided for electronic medical record systems.

Job Details:

• Location: Detroit, MI
• Schedule: Night shifts, 10 hours per shift, four days a week, from 7:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D., registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technicians (BRPT), BCLS Certification, and ability to score sleep reliability according to HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with pediatric patients (starting at age 5), scientific coursework related to sleep technology, and experience with sleep study procedures, scoring, and troubleshooting
• Additional Information: Candidate must possess strong computer skills, knowledge of sleep study procedures, and certification in BLS, with on-the-job training provided for electronic health record systems. The role involves working across multiple sleep lab locations, with potential for schedule flexibility based on lab needs.
