Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity
HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is seeking an emergency medicine physician for our HCA Florida Champions Gate FSED, in Davenport, FL. Qualified candidates: Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) required. 9K ER visits per year. 12 emergency room bays, including a fully equipped trauma bay. Separate pediatric waiting area, triage, and a dedicated bay. State of the art imaging, including CT, ultrasound, and radiology. Covered ambulance entrance for patient drop-off/pick-up and EMS lounge. Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists.
Independent contractor status incentives/benefits: Competitive compensation, employee status plus benefits, paid "A" rated malpractice insurance coverage, flexible scheduling.
About Champions Gate FSER: 9,000 ER visits per year (25 patients per day), 12 emergency room bays, including a fully equipped trauma bay, separate pediatric waiting area, triage, and a dedicated bay, state of the art imaging on-site, including CT, ultrasound, and X-ray.
